This weeks events in scouting

Another busy week in scouting!

On Tursday from 5-7pm is a Den Chief training to be held at the Diocese of Gaylord Conference Center. Scouts will learn how to be Den Chiefs for the Cub Scout pack. This role counts as a Position of Responsibility and is very important to our Cub Scout Leaders. They need the assistance and the experience of our Boy Scouts.

Our meeting on Wednesday will be more preparation for the Kiwanis Open House. Please make sure your scout's patrol is ready with a Dutch Oven recipe and ingredient list to turn in. Ask your scout if they signed up to speak at the Open House and if so, practice with them their 5 minute speech. This is a requirement for the Communications Merit badge.

Show of hands to see adults who are planning on helping to chaperone the lock-in on Friday!  For many of our new boys this will be their first activity in the troop. Please assist Tabitha! We need adult help from 7:30 -7am from setup to clean up. Can't stay all night? You could come early in the morning to let tired adults go home. Please let us know if you can help. We need YOU!

Scouts please attend the lock-in on Friday! There will be food, games and fun. We will make bows for the wreath sale fundraiser and also complete some requirements for the Communications merit badge. Bring your scout book to get requirements signed off.
