New position available in the troop! And chances are, many of you are already doing it. All we need to do is make it official! It’s the New Member Coordinator position. Are you friendly? Do you like to make others feel welcome? Are you interested in helping our troop grow in size? Then this position might be fit you! Check it out here and let Scoutmaster know if you are interested.

Klondike practice this Saturday

This Saturday, January 13, practice for Klondike for Webelos and Arrow of Light at Peace Lutheran Church. Any Boy Scout is more than welcome to attend but Boy Scouts will participate in a teaching/supervision role. (Good service time!) Practice is from 10-2, He will have 2 big cans of chili, but you can bring a sack lunch if you choose. Dress for weather first half will be outside. Don’t forget to wish Leader Dameon a Happy Birthday!!

Northern Trails District Awards Nominations

We have so many dedicated volunteers, why don’t you take the time to recognize their commitment with an award from Northern Trails District? Nominees must have 2 years experience and be of good character and well regarded in community. Feel free to ask Scoutmaster who has gotten an award in the past so we don’t duplicate. Fill out and mail or return to Scoutmaster and I will submit for you.

Mark your calendar's for the 22nd Annual Gaylord Sportsplex Lock-in on March 17th, hosted by Troop 1!  Troop 1 parents, put this on your calendar.  All families must volunteer for this lock-in in order to make it successful.

Change in Committee meeting -not Sunday but instead at lock-in, Friday (tomorrow night) at 9:30 pm at the community center.

Community Center lock-in tomorrow! Bring a friend! $10.00 each!

Activities include Dodge ball, Nerf wards (equipment provided), rock band and stocking bowling. You are welcome to bring your own video games, Pokemon, D&D and Magic cards as well.  You will be expected to pay up front, or you can pay from your scout account if it has the money.
