Troop 1 Meeting - September 20, 2006

After the flag ceremony we discussed reflections on Hessel both Roses and Thorns. Mostly we all enjoyed ourselves over the past weekend.
There was a presentation put on about speaking effectively in front of groups. This is a preparation for the up coming Court of Honor.
Court of Honor
When: Sunday September 24, 2006
Time: 1 – 4 (Service Patrol needs to be there at 12:40)
Place: Livingston Township Hall (Mr. Marsh can give directions)
Run down on how the court of Honor will go …
The new Chaplin’s Aid, followed by dinner, will give blessing. A – N deserts to pass and O – Z veggie and salad dishes.
Opening flag ceremony along with Scout Oath and Scout Law.
Senior Patrol Leader will introduce Mrs. Savory in turn Mrs. Savory will introduce Mr. Wagar who will introduce the Committee.
Induction of the new Senior Patrol Leader and his Assistants will follow with induction of Patrol Leaders and positions of responsibility.
We will talk about past stuff done in the troop since last Court of Honor.

Then we will talk about future plans:
- Community Center Lock In
- SportsPlex Lock In

Awards will then be presented to each scout according to what they have earned.
Scoutmaster will present Words Of Wisdom
Fundraising Chairs will speak
Then the Court of Honor will close with the Flag ceremony and possible blessing .
Ended Wednesday night meeting with three games of Silent Ball. Scoutmaster is requesting everyone who wants to go to Fall Camporee sign up by our next troop meeting.
