Scout Meeting
8/30/06

The meeting started with talk about Frank’s Farm and what could have been improved.
Clean up was at the top of the list, everyone agreed that the duty roster needed to be planned better and followed. This includes cooks being up early and clean up crew ready. The hardest thing at camp to clean was bacon.

The H. brothers were introduced to the troop as new members.

When asked what everyone liked about scouting there were many of the same answers.

Then we had the vote for responsibilities in the troop, each current member explained the duties of each position. These were the results…

These will be sworn into office at the Court of Honor on September 24th 2006.

Hessel was explained to the scouts as being three weeks from now. We make up games and play all weekend with a dance on Saturday night.

The Treasurer explained the need for scouts to help out at the Sportsman Club parking cars and made a sign up sheet, he needs six per shift. If interested contact Scoutmaster.

Scout Master announcements included reading of a page from the book Seven Secrets to Success. One was today’s success is the enemy of tomorrows success.
