Beat the Stink
Sniff, sniff. It’s great to be seen and heard, but no one – especially girls – wants to suffer a smelly you. Taking a shower everyday and using deodorant don’t only help get girls but help result in better self-confidence. Also you will have better health.
As you mature your body will begin to act in all kinds of new ways. Many of these will involve pungent odors. All kinds of things make you sweat as a teen so take showers daily.

The Ultimate Test
They have spent the winter getting ready. Now these boys and girls face their toughest challenge; 35 miles down MAD River.

They call it “The Mad”, partly because it’s short for Madawaska River, and partly because you have to be crazy to tackle it’s mix of grueling flat water and fast moving white water. Troop 849 was the first troop to go down the Mad River. They had fun and a couple of spills but made it out all right.
