SPRING CAMPOREE—SCOUT JAMBOREE 2010
100TH ANNIVERSARY OF SCOUTING

Where:   Traverse City Fairgrounds

When: April 30-May 2, 2010

Depart: Glen’s Parking Lot, 5:00 Friday afternoon

Return: Sunday morning 11:00, to Glen’s Parking Lot

Activities:  This is an expo—we, and the other Troops in the STC are each putting on a demonstration for each other and for spectators who come to the Expo.  Troop 1 is doing a demonstration of Dutch Oven Cooking—8 ovens in all.

We are also putting on a display of the troop survival kit with explanation of how it works and when to carry it.

Adults are welcome to attend as well as camp with us.

Trailer:  Tony+3scouts

Additional: 3-4 Spots needed

Suggested Packing List:
Warm Jacket
Rain Gear
Toiletries
Extra Socks
Meds
Sleeping Bag or Blankets and Pad
Flashlight
Cap or Hat
Sunglasses 

We will be loading the Troop Trailer on Thursday night about 5:00 at Unit 22, Masonic Lodge storage on South Otsego.

Shopping will be done for the troop at 3:30—right after school-- at Glen’s for both the EXPO food and the troop.

No electronics on this trip. 

Gear will go into the troop trailer rather than into the cars for this trip—that will make the cars less crowded.

Be sure to bring your class A uniform.  We will have a parade on Saturday morning with both troop and US flag.
