LET'S GET READY TO POLAR BEAR!

The 18 Scouts attending this weekends outing at the Camp Greilick will have the option of sleeping in one of the Adirondack shelters or constructing their own outdoor shelter and completing a Polar Bear camp out.

Ground sheets, tarps, twine, shovels, and straw for outdoor shelters will be provided by the Troop. Shelters must be occupied by at least two Scouts. The scouts must provide their own sleeping mat and sleeping bags. An extra blanket or sleeping bag insert are recommended - it will be very cold this weekend. It is extremely important that Scouts wanting to sleep over night in their own shelters have a DRY, warm set of clothing to change into before going to bed in the shelters.

Please refer to the Trip Consent Form (click link to form) for a complete list of personal gear each scout should bring to this outing.
