Troop 1 is having a Polar Bear campout in lieau of the scheduled Klondike. The location is yet to be determined, but the date is Saturday, January 29. Boys will continue to receive Winter outdoor training in the regularly scheduled meetings on Wednesdays and more information will follow. Watch the website for info!
Committee Members, parents and scouts with leadership roles please attend a Committee Leadership meeting on Sunday, January 30 at Bagley Township Hall.
Scouts should arrive at 6:00 p.m. for discussion on topics that they want to present to the committee at 7:00 p.m.
Committee Members and parents should arrive at 7:00 p.m. to hear topics from scouts and then continue with the meeting. Everyone should come with at least one item that they would like to discuss. At the resignation of Tim Baker, Duane Modrzynski has been newly appointed as the Committee Chair and he would like to have this meeting to hear all comments on the troop leadership, and discuss any changes to be made in how the troop is being run as we prepare to welcome new scouts into the Troop in the spring.
We hope this meeting will be a great and positive way to share ideas for future success. We hope to see you there!
The regularly scheduled meeting will resume in February on Sunday, February 13th.
