Ski Weekend Opportunity

Your Scoutmaster Ken Arndt spoke with a leader from a troop in Farmington Hills on Friday, Feb 4. She is bringing up 12 boys for a ski weekend next weekend-Saturday (Feb 12th). If we have about 8 boys who want to ski, the price for it could be very reasonable—that would be day and night at Treetops on Saturday.

Please let Ken Arndt know ASAP if you are interested in skiing so he can get a count of scouts who are interested.  His email is  karndt@arndtandassoc.com

Important! Additional Committee Leadership Meeting this month

Committee Members, parents and scouts with leadership roles please attend a Committee Leadership meeting on Sunday, January 30 at Bagley Township Hall.

Scouts should arrive at 6:00 p.m. for discussion on topics that they want to present to the committee at 7:00 p.m.

Committee Members and parents should arrive at 7:00 p.m. to hear topics from scouts and then continue with the meeting.  Everyone should come with at least one item that they would like to discuss.  At the resignation of Tim Baker, Duane Modrzynski has been newly appointed as the Committee Chair and he would like to have this meeting to hear all comments on the troop leadership, and discuss any changes to be made in how the troop is being run as we prepare to welcome new scouts into the Troop in the spring.

We hope this meeting will be a great and positive way to share ideas for future success.  We hope to see you there!

Christmas Tree Sales Sign up sheet

Raeanne needs help!  She took on the important task of chairing our Troop's only fundraiser, but she needs help selling the trees. Please sign up at the link below to participate in Christmas Tree Sales. Attendance is mandatory for all Boy Scouts. In order to cover all the time slots, we need a scout with parent to cover at least 3 shifts. You will earn service time. All money earned goes toward the support of the troop.

If you've already worked your three shifts, we thank you so much!  But please consider signing up for another shift, because we need the help.

If you haven't worked your shifts, please take a look at the times left and sign up.          Christmas Tree Signup Sheet
