Committee Meeting Sunday!

It’s that time again, I hope you can make it to a committee meeting on Sunday, March 12. 

6pm for scouts in leadership to plan upcoming meetings, and 7pm for adults and leaders.

Main topic will be the upcoming Sportsplex lock-in. Hope to see you at Bagley hall!

Tonight's meeting

Tonight's meeting was supposed to be a fun going away party for our SPL Ben and promoting Ethan as temporary SPL until elections. 

However, I didn't realize that Ben would be wrapped up in the Charlotte's Web play until after 8pm everyday this week.  So I think we will move Ethan's promotion to next week. 

I need ideas for tonight's meeting.  We could do merit badge wrap up's and requirements for the scouts who need to advance in rank, or practice knots.  Does anyone else have any ideas?

Annual Nominations and upcoming Recognition Dinner

It's that time again to nominate your fellow scouters for all that they do in the troop. I'm a little late in getting this out, so if you want to nominate someone, do not delay, fill it out and email it immediately to kielis@att.net

Or simply type it up in an email and let him know it's a nomination.

The recognition dinner is April 6 in Petoskey.

Sign up to help out at the Sportsplex lock-in!

Hey Everybody, It's time for parents and leaders of Troop 1 to sign up to work the 21st Annual Sportsplex lock-in. This means YOU! We need all available volunteers to come and help out. It's a long tiring night and the more help we have the more that people can work shifts and go home if they need to. Please check out the spreadsheet and put your name down. THis is our biggest event of the year and we generally have between 350-450 scouts and leaders in attendance.

Meeting will go on as scheduled tonight. Come if you can, but no worries if you can't.

We will hold the scout meeting as scheduled at 7:00 pm. . We have Webelos coming for a visit, and the polar bear planning is happening (beginning at 5:30). Please make best judgments as far as the weather goes. If you have to miss the meeting that is fine.
