It's the most wonderful time of the year! The Troop 1 Christmas Tree Lot will be set up and opened for business this week.
Tuesday, November 21, at 10am, Mr. Nutter will drop off the Troop trailer and have all the materials for setting up the tree lot. We could use a couple of adult volunteers to help with set up. The lot requires setting about 20 steel posts, setting up the lights, and tying off the ropes we lean the trees against.
Tuesday, November 21, some time after lunch, Mr. Hancock and Mr. Neff will deliver 110 trees to the lot. All strong backs are welcome. We will have cell phones to call tree lot helpers!
Wednesday November 22, 225 trees will be delivered to the lot. Strong backs are once again needed. The trees are coming from Tustin and we will get a call when they are on the road.
Thursday, November 23, Eat, sleep, eat, watch football, sleep, eat and repeat!
Friday, November 24, Tree lot opens for business. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
Please call Mr. Neff at 989-732-4051 to volunteer for Tuesday or Wednesday festivities.
